Running below target
Ranked by the spend actually exposed — window spend × how far short of target it runs — so a big campaign missing slightly outranks a small one missing badly. Only campaigns that map to a product category have a target.

Brand = a | Brand segment on a SEARCH campaign (AU brand and brand new-customer). Generic = all other demand capture, including pMAX, shopping and remarketing. Brand video is excluded from both sides — upper-funnel awareness, and it runs in bursts that would distort generic YoY; $76,383 over the last 12 months · caveat: pMAX absorbs some branded queries and cannot be split out, so generic is not perfectly brand-free — read the trend in the ratio, not its absolute level.
8 further active AU campaigns ($59,160) fall outside the top 40 by spend and are not listed · 97 campaigns took no spend in the latest week and are treated as paused ($571,454 earlier in the window) · 3 of 33 named campaigns carry an R that disagrees with the business target for their category — marked ≠ · $542,886 across 10 store campaigns is excluded entirely: AU revenue is measured on an online basis, so footfall spend has no online revenue to repay it (same rule as the rest of the dashboard).

Running below target
Ranked by the spend actually exposed — window spend × how far short of target it runs — so a big campaign missing slightly outranks a small one missing badly. Only campaigns that map to a product category have a target.

Brand = a | Brand segment on a SEARCH campaign (NZ brand and brand new-customer). Generic = all other demand capture, including pMAX, shopping and remarketing. Brand video is excluded from both sides — upper-funnel awareness, and it runs in bursts that would distort generic YoY; none in NZ over this window · caveat: pMAX absorbs some branded queries and cannot be split out, so generic is not perfectly brand-free — read the trend in the ratio, not its absolute level.
0 further active NZ campaigns ($0) fall outside the top 37 by spend and are not listed · 28 campaigns took no spend in the latest week and are treated as paused ($125,620 earlier in the window) · 6 of 30 named campaigns carry an R that disagrees with the business target for their category — marked ≠.

How the number is built. Revenue is GA4 purchaseRevenue for sessions that arrived on that campaign — last-click, so it reads below the Google Ads UI, which uses data-driven attribution. Spend is Google Ads cost per campaign from the warehouse. Campaign grain needs no allocation model: both halves are measured against the same campaign, so ROAS is a straight division.

Validated. Against the pinned pre-change window in the Google Ads ROAS tracker — AU 25–31 Aug 2026, in-scope campaigns only — this pipeline reproduces Cross-network $79,745 and Paid Search $8,176 exactly. (That window is Tue–Mon, the tracker's own span, so it is not one of the Monday-commencing weeks in the grid; it validates the source and the scope rules, not the week boundaries.) Warehouse spend agrees with GA4's own advertiserAdCost to about 0.02%.

Every active campaign is listed — active meaning it took spend in the most recent complete week. Brand, Remarketing and Catch-All appear alongside the rest: at campaign grain their ROAS is just as measured, so there is no reason to hide them. They carry no target because they are not a single product category, and their cells are left uncoloured.

"Named R" is the campaign's name, not its bid target. The (R3) suffix is a label typed by whoever named the campaign; reading the live tROAS needs Google Ads API access. It is shown because targets are being loosened progressively — if the namer re-labels as he loosens, the change becomes visible here. Where the named R disagrees with the business target for that category the cell is marked ≠; the colour always follows the business target, never the name.

Read each market against its own targets. AU is materially softer than NZ on the same categories — mattress 3 against 4, sofa bed 4 against 5 — so an AU cell and an NZ cell of the same colour are not the same ROAS. Compare colours within a market, never the raw multiples across them.

What it will not tell you. Last-click campaign ROAS is not incrementality — it cannot say what a campaign added over doing nothing, and it flatters campaigns that harvest existing demand (Brand most of all). And targets began loosening progressively from 2 Sep 2026 — NZ first, AU rolling over the following week — so every week here predates the change and the target column is the old, tighter set.
